After filming one 4 minute longform commercial, we were able to create five additional advertisements extending the use of the content and maximizing the value from our clients budget.

ALPS Insurance - ‘The Little Things’ - Power of Lonform video

Modern marketing often focuses on quick, short-form content—and for good reason. Short-form content is great for grabbing attention, driving engagement, and keeping your brand in front of your audience.

But sometimes, a longer, highly polished advertisement that tells a compelling story can be just as powerful—if not more so.

Long-form storytelling gives you the opportunity to slow down, connect with your audience, showcase a real success story, and create something that stands out from the competition.

That was the approach we took with the long-form commercial we created for ALPS Insurance Agency. We focused on telling a compelling story while showcasing the impact ALPS has on its clients.

And the best part? The long-form commercial became the foundation for an entire library of short-form content, allowing us to maximize the campaign across multiple platforms and formats.

Maximizing the Content

Because we approached the production strategically from the start, we were able to solve additional marketing needs without requiring ALPS to invest in another production.

We identified the individual stories within the main video and created one-minute versions of each. From there, we developed 30-second cutdowns designed for television and streaming advertising.

Then we looked at the needs of social media.

Instead of simply posting clips from the original video, we leveraged the high-quality footage we had already captured and created new graphics, messaging, and advertising points specifically for short-form platforms. This allowed us to produce 15-second and 6-second videos in both horizontal and vertical formats.

These pieces didn't have to connect directly to the original narrative. They could stand on their own as individual advertisements, giving ALPS even more flexibility in how and where the content could be used.

Invest in a polished flagship video, and turn one powerful piece of content into multiple marketing assets.

Building the Foundation

This campaign started with a great story created by our client, ALPS Insurance Agency. During pre-production, we worked closely with their team to make sure we could bring that story to life at the highest possible level and create a strong foundation piece for the entire campaign.

Every detail was carefully considered—from locations, set design, props, wardrobe, and casting to lighting and production design. Once everything was in place, our production team worked meticulously and strategically to capture the footage needed to create the flagship piece.

In post-production, our team carefully shaped the story through editing, pacing, color grading, sound, and graphics to deliver a polished final product that felt cohesive, intentional, and true to the story.

The flagship video was only the beginning.

One Production. An Entire Campaign.

This strategic approach maximized the value of ALPS's video production investment.

The campaign began with a high-end, long-form flagship video designed to hold the audience's attention, tell a meaningful story, and connect with customers through their challenges and successes.

From that foundation, we created:

  • A polished long-form brand story

  • One-minute story cutdowns

  • 30-second television and streaming advertisements

  • 15-second social media advertisements

  • 6-second social media advertisements

  • Horizontal and vertical versions

  • New graphics and messaging tailored to different platforms

Rather than creating a single video that served one purpose, we built a content ecosystem from one production.

One story. One production. Multiple campaigns. Maximum value.

That's how you get more from your video investment.
